My Music

Outside academics, music is a big part of who I am. I’ve trained in Carnatic vocal music for six years, performing in several concerts with my group at venues like the Pataleeshwarar Temple (near Cuddalore), Vallakottai Murugan Temple, and Kalikambal Temple in Chennai.

I also enjoy exploring music beyond tradition—I'm self-taught on the piano and guitar, and I often try to blend Carnatic elements into my playing. I’ve been part of chorus performances, including singing for Maestro Ilayaraja, an experience that deeply shaped my relationship with music.
When I’m not solving equations or writing code, you’ll probably find me experimenting with sounds, arranging something on the keys, or just listening to music from across genres.

Track: Thikkalodi Vesham - Ilaiyaraaja

It was Jan 2016, when I was called to the studio by Maestro Ilaiyaraaja to record chorus verses for a couple of songs. Only one was released
